I will serve the 11th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives with the perspective of someone who has known and observed every member who has represented our district since Charles Vanik.  United States Rep. Louis Stokes was a civil rights attorney who fought Terry v. Ohio 1966 to the Supreme Court of the United States of America.  He believed that sharing knowledge was his duty.  He honored us with a committed career.  I honored him with a Key to the City during my term as East Cleveland's Mayor.
